Junsu of the Korean boy band Tohoshinki will be releasing his Japanese solo debut single on May the 26th. Currently untitled, the single will be a double A-side. The first song is described as a "mature song that strips back the image of Junsu," while the second is a ballad.

Junsu has released solo material in the past, such as the song Rainy Night from the Trick project in 2008, and the B-side to the band's most recently released single, Break Out!, Xiahtic.

Bandmates Jejung and Yuchun released a single together apart from the group in September 2009, Colors ~Melody and Harmony~, which reached #1 on Oricon charts.

Tohoshinki release their 30th single, Toki o Tomete, and TVXQ Non-Stop Mix Vol. 2 on the 24th of this month.

J'ai hâte d'entendre la balade, c'est obligé elle va être géniale. Il a une voix pour les balades ce petit !
Par contre ils entendent quoi par "mature song that strips back the image of Junsu"? Un truc sexy? Enfin mature ça veut tout dire ... en plus ils utilisent le verbe "strip" xD Genre ça va enlever son image de petit enfant pur. Bon je m'enflamme haha

ouais rayé tu peux dire "striped" quand c'est un adjectif, car "stripe" (le nom) veut dire une "rayure"
mais le verbe "strip" (sans "e") ça veut dire déshabiller (d'où l'expression "strip tease")

Tohoshinki's Xiah Junsu's first solo single in Japan has reached the pre-order sales of 3 billion Won!
His solo single will be released in Japan on May 26. Xiah Junsu's side has expressed, "there have been 160 000 pre-ordered copies in Japan already. CD's have 75 000 copies, DVD's including the special edition copy has 85 000 copies".

Looking at it through the amount of money, it has an approximately 3 billion Won value, making Xiah Junsu's popularity unable to be defeated!

What makes it particular is that this will be Xiah Junsu's first solo single after his groups' suspension of activities and before his activities as a unit, which attracts more attention from Japanese fans.

On May 2, his single's PV was released and also received a lot of attention, with the number of views increasing tremendously online, once again proving Xiah Junsu's immense popularity.

bah sa nouvelle chanson intoxication est vraiment nul et le clip l'est encore plus il se la joue trop play boy et ça lui va pas . ce serais bien d'avoir une chanson a la rainy night ou xiatic

[Trans] 100601 Tohoshinki: Junsu’s Solo Single Debuts At #2; Top Solo Artist Of The Year

According to the Oricon Weekly Rankings released on the 1st (for 7th June), Junsu (23), from Tohoshinki, who announced their suspension of activities in April this year, sold a total of 195,000 copies of his debut solo single「XIAH (Intoxication)」(rhythm zone) under the name 「XIAH junsu」. The total sales of 195,000 copies of his single in its first week of sales secured him second place in the Oricon Weekly Charts.

Yusuke held the record of selling 92,000 copies of his single「Lion」(released March 2010) in its first week of sales and Junsu exceeded that amount by a large margin to become the top solo artist of the year on the Oricon Singles Weekly Charts.

Tohoshinki is a popular vocalist group comprising 5 Korean male members and in Japan, they also attended the「NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen」. After the suspension of group activities, Junsu became a solo artist and it was announced that he will also form a 3-membered unit group with Jejung and Yuchun.

In addition, Junsu also attended the「Girls Award 2010」, Japan’s largest fashion and music event, that was held at the Yoyogi Gymnasium (Tokyo), and wowed many of the audience with his sharp dances and vocal skills.

In the single「XIAH (Intoxication)」besides「Intoxication」the song「Beautiful Love ～君がいれば～」was recorded and this will be the OST for the new mobile drama of the same name, which stars Yuchun and will air on BeeTV.
